How did you end up studying law?
It has been a journey…first time I said I want to be a lawyer I was still in primary school, at the time I was fascinated by the glamour that seems to be attached to lawyers (as shown by the media, movies)... Then fast forward a couple of years later, a tragedy strikes in the family. This is my first experience of injustice and of seeing how cruel the world can be. This is when I knew what I had to become, a voice for the voiceless and the hopeless, a lawyer!
If you were banned to a desert island with a group of castaways, which law book would you take with you?
The Bill of Rights Handbook by De Waal J, and Currie I.
Who is your most admired figure in history?
Nelson Mandela

Former deputy chief Justice Dikgang Moseneke
